A brilliant opportunity for an experienced Planner to join a well-established town planning consultancy. They have a national presence and work on projects across various sectors such as commercial, residential, sport, leisure, healthcare, and public sector.

Planner Duties

  • Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals
  • Conduct site appraisals and planning research
  • Prepare Retail Impact Assessments
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to planning strategy development for various schemes

Planner Requirements

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • MRTPI or working towards
  • Retail Impact Assessment experience
  • A relevant degree in Town Planning or similar (RTPI Accredited)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of the various factors of retail planning; mainly in relation to promoting new and extended food retail outlets
  • Full UK driving license
