Simply Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, and proactive Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Wilmslow starting September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to make a real difference in education while developing key skills in behaviour management, curriculum delivery, and student engagement.
The Role:As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to pupils in the absence of the classroom teacher. Manage classroom behaviour and support students in achieving their learning objectives. Uphold school values and promote a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Supervise whole classes across a range of subjects and year groups (KS3 and KS4). Build strong relationships with staff and students to facilitate effective learning.
What We're Looking For:
Confident, articulate individuals with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A calm, professional approach to classroom supervision and behaviour for learning. Experience working with young people in any capacity (e.g. education, sports coaching, youth work) is advantageous. A commitment to safeguarding, equal opportunities, and supporting pupil well-being. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through us.
