The settings of these schools are centred on pupil s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.
These amazing schools are seeking a passionate team player to take on short-term and long-term roles, although there is potential for these to become a long-term placement for the right SEN Teacher. The successful SEN Teacher will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The position will involve working with students across all Key Stages with diagnosis of Autism / ASD, SLD / Severe Learning Difficulties, and challenging behaviours. A proactive thinker with the ability to take control of situations confidently is necessary.
The successful SEN Teacher will have:
- SEND Teaching experience.
- A good knowledge of the national curriculum.
- The initiative, ability and desire to deliver fun and engaging lessons.
- The ability to build good relationships with the staff and pupils.
- Strong behaviour management skills
