Overview:

Responsible for delivering and continuously improving training programs, executing training, and developing / enhancing materials as required. The role is essentially to develop and support apprentices to become the very best they can be. In the simplest terms we are there to help them at every step.
The person also will operate as a programme specialist in the structure and design of specific apprenticeship programmes and support the head of curriculum to develop the very best in class programme.
Main Duties:
- Teach cohorts of apprenticeship learners (both new hires and existing staff) using virtual classroom software against the entirety of KSBs for Digital Support Technician & Information Communication Technician
- To create an engaging and productive learning environment for all apprentices
- Manage the apprentice experience of the virtual classroom, dealing with any disciplinary and classroom management issues, taking registers and reporting absence.
- To ensure your own skill sets are kept up to date and relevant, attending training courses to further your personal development and knowledge, completing a minimum of 30 hours CPD per annum.
- To focus on how delivering an excellent apprenticeship experience for apprentices and their employers, monitoring progress at the academy and in the workplace.
- Maintain appropriate tracking systems and procedures relating to quality, compliance, management and assessment
- To be committed to Health & Safety awareness inclusive of Safeguarding and Prevent
- Understand and follow all relevant Apprentify Policies and Processes
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years experience of work in a delivering Digital Support Technician / Information Communication Technician apprenticeships
- Experience of mentoring/coaching in a professional environment
- To hold (or pass) an Enhanced CRB check
- Knowledge of ICT standards and requirements.
- Knowledge of Safeguarding, Prevent and E&D.
- Knowledge of apprenticeship standards particularly digital and tech and work-based learning
- Knowledge of the current Ofsted Education Inspection Framework
- Good track record in being part of supporting apprentices to achieve merits/distinctions at EPA
