A recent study has revealed the top ten 'best places to live in Cheshire in 2025'.

Acclaimed digital platform Muddy Stilettos, in association with Knight Frank, recently launched its 'Top 300 Best Places to Live' for 2025.

The guide now covers more regions than ever before including London, Yorkshire and Cheshire.

Muddy Stilettos, the UK's number one women's lifestyle website outside London, says the guide features 'unparalleled local knowledge and insight into the 35 most sought-after counties in England' to inform house hunters of the local hotspots and up-and-coming areas.

Alderley Edge has been ranked as the number one place to live in Cheshire according to the guide.

It is known for beauty spots such as the 'edge' (Wilmslow Nub News).

Known to be within the 'golden triangle', it has been praised for its grand and handsome Victorian homes speckled around the centre, sweeps of farmland and legendary 'Edge'.

Wilmslow ranked tenth best place to live in Cheshire in 2025 by the guide for its thriving community spirit and upmarket restaurants and shops.

Other places in Cheshire also included in the list are Chester, Knutsford, Lymm, Macclesfield, Mobberley, Nantwich, Prestbury and Tarporley.
