Cheshire East Council has cancelled tomorrow's (March 5) meeting of the northern planning committee.

Councillors were due to discuss an application for an all-weather pitch at Wilmslow Rugby Union Club.

The club wants to replace a grass playing pitch with a 3G all-weather surface, together with associated fencing and lighting at its Kings Road site.

Cheshire East says the application has been withdrawn from tomorrow's agenda by planning officers to allow for further consideration of additional information.
