Cheshire police are appealing for information after a car was stolen in a burglary in Wilmslow (Cheshire Police).

Cheshire police are appealing for information after a car was stolen in a burglary in Wilmslow.

Intruders forced their way into a property on Newlands Drive.

The break-in happened at a property on Newlands Drive between 10.30pm on Friday 14 February and 6.35am on Saturday 15 February.

Posting on social media, PC Evan Morris, said: "Unknown offenders snapped the lock on the front door and stole a white BMW.

"The vehicle will have headed onto either Moor Lane or Gravel Lane to leave the area.

"If you have any information that may relate, including CCTV, video doorbells or in-built vehicle cameras, please visit https://orlo.uk/JV5V8 or telephone 101, quoting 25000125583."

This comes after police issued a warning regarding a spate in thefts of high value cars.
