Film voting open for Cinema on the Carrs 2025

Wilmslow Town Council have announced the film voting options for this year's Cinema on the Carrs, which takes place on Saturday 7 June.

Cinema on the Carrs is a free community event, funded by Wilmslow Town Council.

Set outdoors in the picturesque Carrs Country Park, with an afternoon Duck Race, a tuck shop and food and drink stalls, Cinema on the Carrs has been a pivotal feature of the Wilmslow summer events calendar since 2015.

This year's afternoon film voting options are: Paddington in Peru, Moana 2, The Wild Robot, Despicable Me 4,

The evening film voting options are: Wicked, The Fall Guy, West Side Story (2021), Pride & Prejudice.

Town Mayor, Councillor Tim Higgins, said, "We are excited to announce the film choices for Cinema on the Carrs 2025.

"As a much-loved, free, outdoor community event, Cinema on the Carrs is one of our favourite Town Council events.

There will also be a duck race on the day (Image-supplied).

"We look forward to seeing which films are chosen and the Wilmslow community enjoying open-air cinema in our beautiful park on Saturday 7 June."

Voting can be made via Wilmslow Town Council social media accounts, by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01625 402907.

Voting will close on Monday 5th May 2025.
