Superheroes took over Grove Street on Saturday 26 April Wilmslow's first ever Comic-Con.
The free to attend event took place between 10am and 4pm in the town centre for the first time for Wilmslow.
Colourful characters from everyone's favourite comics and movies could be seen throughout the day providing entertainment and photo opportunities galore alongside interactive workshops and a unique Comic-Con market.

The free to attend, family event was hosted by Wilmslow's Way Better, funded through the Wilmslow BID which aims to develop the town centre business district and drive footfall to local businesses through new activities to animate the town centre.
Characters on the loose in Wilmslow included Iron Man, Spiderman, Batman and the Gotham City Police Department.
Families could also see Transformers Bumblebee and Optimus Prime in their vehicular and robot forms with a series of walkabouts and demonstrations along Grove Street.

There was also a Jurassic area with animatronic dinosaurs and characters inspired by the Jurassic Park franchise.
There were superhero workshops throughout the day and outside The Rex Cinema. There was also a several special guest signings, including Star Wars actor Willie Coppen.
