Major Wilmslow road to close next week

A major road through Wilmslow will be closed next week as work is done to address the surfacing dressing work.
The A538 Altrincham Road will be closed to traffic in both directions between the first junction with Racecourse Road and the roundabout at the Airport Tunnel/Britannia Hotel.
The works will take approximately three nights to complete, starting on Wednesday 23 April 2025 between the hours of 7pm and 6am.
The work will consist of carriageway patching in preparation for surfacing dressing work which is set to take place in the summer.
Details about this work will be available nearer the time with work expected to finish on Friday 25 April.
