New emergency kits have been installed in Handforth following a recent meeting of Handforth Town Council.

Councillors agreed to the purchase and installation of two new emergency bleed control cabinets.

One has been installed on the side of Moore Secure on the junction of Meriton Road and Wilmslow Road, the second has been installed at Handforth Station.

When an emergency occurs, blood loss is a grave concern. Being able to control the blood loss before the paramedics are on the scene could be the difference between life and death.

Those who are first on the scene are unlikely to be medically trained and this is why bleed control kits are easy to use to stop or control blood loss and prevent a person from bleeding out.
