A planning application has been approved to expand Howden insurance office on Alderley Road in Wilmslow.

The proposal was to change the use of the already vacant 'Oliver's club' which closed in Wilmslow earlier this year.

Howden insurance have now been given the go-ahead to change the former barber's shop into an office to expand the Wilmslow branch of Howden insurance and the formation of new entrance doors.

The existing door to the premises located on 13-15, Rex Buildings, Alderley Road will be replaced with a larger double door.

The planning application was submitted on the Tuesday 16 July and has just been approved with conditions on Thursday 3 October.

The agent, Mr Bob Woollard of Planning and Design Group, put forward the plans on behalf of Howden insurance.

The conditions attached are that the development must commence within three years of the date of this permission.

The materials used must also be in strict accordance with those specified in the application unless different materials are first agreed in writing with the Local Planning Authority.
