The former Coggles shop will now be a Flannels (Wilmslow Nub News).

A planning application has been submitted to replace two illuminated fascia signs at the site of the former Coggles on 52 London Road in Alderley Edge.

The plans detail partial side illuminated Flannels lettering cut from 30mm acrylic and embedded with white LEDs.

These plans were submitted on Friday 4 October by Katherine Sneeden on behalf of Frasers Group.

The Coggles store, selling a selection of menswear, womenswear and homeware, had recently closed nearly seven years after it had opened.

It followed the announcement in June 2024 that Frasers Group had acquired THG's luxury goods websites, including Coggles, for an undisclosed amount.

The replacement of the two signs marks the news that fashion retailer Flannels will open there.

The last date for submitting comments is 29 October with a decision due on 29 November.
