Plans have been approved to refurbish Browns Brasserie on Station Road in Wilmslow.

The planning application was submitted by the agent Nick Davey of JTS Partnership LLP acting on behalf of Mitchells & Butlers Retail Limited.

Plans to refurbish the Grade II listed building were submitted on Monday 29 April 2024 and have now been approved on Tuesday 1 October 2024.

The proposals are for refurbishment and alteration of building and grounds, replacement of walled bin store enclosure with single storey kitchen extension and provision of a new bin store.

Plans have now been approved to refurbish the Grade II listed building (Wilmslow Nub News).

The planning applications reads: "Prior to implementation of any external materials, a sample panel showing the proposed colour, texture, facebond and pointing shall be provided on site and approved in writing by the Local Planning Authority demonstrating a prior agreed bond and demonstrating that the mortar to be used in the development shall be a lime mortar."

The sample panels will be retained on site until the work is completed in order to protect Grade II Listed Asset and its setting.

The site used to be a Miller and Carter restaurant before closing and turning into a Browns Brasserie.
