Cheshire police are appealing for information after a house was broken into on Buckingham Road in Wilmslow.

A Cheshire police spokesperson said: "Between 5pm and 8.30pm on 14 March, a house was broken into on Buckingham Road. It is believed that unknown offenders climbed the scaffolding of a neighbouring property to access the house through an upstairs window.

"An untidy search of the house was made and two expensive handbags and a passport were stolen.

Anyone with any information or video footage in relation to this incident is asked to Contact Cheshire Police on 101 or at www.cheshire.police.uk/tell-us, quoting 25000215576.
