A free workshop is taking place at the Guild to promote wellbeing and happiness on Saturday 12 October.

Day-to-day life can be challenging and often chaotic. We're dashing from here to there, a million tasks and responsibilities to take care of, but not enough time to catch up with ourselves.

Experienced Facilitator Judi Goodwin is donating her time without a fee for this workshop so that as many people as possible may benefit.

Judi is a qualified life coach and NLP practitioner with more than 30 years teaching experience.

The first Writing for Wellbeing workshop took place ten years ago and was a fairly new concept to most people. A decade later and this workshop has become one of our most popular day events at the Guild.

The workshop provides an opportunity to find some peace and serenity with a pen and paper.

It offers a safe environment where you can access and express the real you without any fear of being judged. By writing spontaneously and without thinking or pre-editing, you'll bypass your internal censor and write what you truly think and feel.

Those who take part will discover how easy it can be as they engage in a series of writing exercises, small group discussions, journaling prompts and reflective activity to unlock their inner wisdom.

Research says that it is good for you and has been proven that writing down thoughts and feelings about past events can improve your mental and physical health. So this is a way of self-nurturing that a doctor would approve of.

Any questions you might have about the workshop, you can call Judi on 07799 644000.
