Saturday - Potato Day - United Reformed Church

Potato day is organised by Wilmslow Community Market Garden who are a part of Transition Wilmslow (Transition Wilmslow).

It takes place on Saturday 15 February from 10am to 1pm at the United Reformed Church on Chapel Lane in Wilmslow.

There will be over 30 varieties of seed potatoes, RHS Awarded, Heritage and Blight Resistance varieties.

Saturday - Wilmslow Artisan Market - Alderley Road

Wilmslow Artisan Market returns to the town centre this Saturday 15 February (Wilmslow Nub News).

Wilmslow Artisan Market returns to the town centre this Saturday 15 February.

The market is one of the highlights on the town's calendar and take place on the third Saturday every month along Alderley Road in the town centre.

Sunday - Village hub and workers cottage tours - Quarry Bank

Take a tour around the village hub and workers cottage at Quarry Bank (Wilmslow Nub News).

As business prospered and mill extended, more cottages were needed to house the increasing workforce.

13 Oak Cottages was not part of the modernisation of the village in the 1960s and is open for visitors as The Worker's Cottage.

The ground floor features a parlour at the front, and a scullery at the back. At the rear of the property is a stone flagged yard with the privy, coal storage, ash pit and water cistern, and on the first floor are two bedrooms.
