Academics is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management skills to join a lovely village Primary School near Wilmslow. This rewarding role is perfect for someone who can build positive relationships, bring energy to the classroom, and help children overcome barriers to learning. Whether you're an experienced TA or someone with transferable skills from a care, youth work, or support background, this could be the ideal next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored classroom support for children with behavioural needs
- Working 1:1 or in small groups to help pupils manage their behaviour and stay engaged in learning
- Supporting teaching staff in maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assisting with behaviour intervention strategies and promoting emotional regulation
- Adapting to different school environments and supporting a range of educational and behavioural needs
Role Requirements:
- Proven experience working with children, particularly those with challenging behaviour
- Confident behaviour management skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Right to work in the UK
- A positive and proactive attitude
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2 or 3 TA qualification) - desirable but not essential
- Experience with SEN or SEMH - highly beneficial
