Arrangements confirmed for Wilmslow’s Annual Town Meeting and Community Awards Ceremony

This year's Annual Town Meeting will take place in the Wilmslow United Reformed Church halls at 6.30pm on Thursday 15 May.
All Wilmslow residents are invited to attend the meeting, with the opportunity to hear from Wilmslow community groups, listen to a report from Wilmslow Town Council and learn about what is happening within Wilmslow.
The meeting, although chaired by the Town Mayor, is not a Council meeting and gives the opportunity for residents to raise topics of local concern or interest.

The Wilmslow Community Awards ceremony will also take place during the evening, celebrating individuals, businesses and community groups who have shown dedication and community spirit. The Wilmslow Community Awards is a Town Council civic awards programme, first introduced last year. Nominations for this year's awards took place in March.
Councillor Tim Higgins, Town Mayor, said, "We are pleased to invite all Wilmslow residents to this year's Annual Town Meeting and Community Awards ceremony.
"The evening gives residents the opportunity to hear about the fantastic work being done within our community by local groups, organisations and charities. There will also be a report on Wilmslow Town Council's work over the last year.
"At the start of the meeting, we will be announcing the 2025 Wilmslow Community Award winners. We look forward to giving our thanks to those who make a big contribution to the community spirit of Wilmslow.
"Please do join us if you can."
