Delays are to be expected along the A34 following a collision between three cars.

A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 12pm on Wednesday 9 April police were called to reports of a collision on the A34 in Handforth. 

"Officers attended and found there had been a collision involving three cars, a white Nissan Leaf, a white Ford Fiesta, and a white panel van.

"Two people have been taken to hospital as a result of the collision."
