Officers investigating reports of a burglary in Nether Alderley are appealing for any witnesses or those with footage to come forward.

At around 6.35pm on Wednesday 20 November, police were called to reports of a high-value burglary at an address in Bollington Lane, Nether Alderley.

The caller reported they had returned to the address and found unknown offenders had gained access to the property and stolen a number of items. The offenders are believed to have fled the scene in the direction of Alderley Road, Chelford.

Detective Sergeant Laura Fox, of Macclesfield CID, said: "We would like to reassure members of the community that we are committed to doing everything we can to trace those responsible.

"We're now appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident or has any relevant information or dashcam footage which may aid our investigation to come forward.

"In particular, we would like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage on the B5359 Alderley Road, Chelford, between 5.30pm and 6pm on Wednesday 20 November.
