Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision between a car and a cyclist on Wilmslow Road, Handforth (Google).

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision between a car and a cyclist in Handforth.

At 10.38am on Saturday 14 September, a blue Citroen C4 Grand Picasso was travelling along Wilmslow Road when it was in collision with a cyclist.

The cyclist, a woman in her 60s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage which may help the investigation to contact police on 101 or via the website quoting IML 1918024.
