Heritage Sites like Styal Mill and Wilmslow's St Bartholomew's Church can apply for post-pandemic funding boost

Wilmslow heritage sites can now apply for up to £100,000 in grants.
Heritage sites have struggled during lockdown, as many cannot allow visitors in but still had urgent repairs that needed doing.
However, listed buildings in Wilmslow and the surrounding area may soon receive a much-needed funding boost.
It is now easier than ever for interested local historic buildings to apply.
Heritage England have opened applications for four separate grants
Project Viability Grants: up to £15,000, for early viability and feasibility work, open now for applications.
Project Development Grants: up to £100,000, for capital project development costs, open now for applications.
This first available is a Crowdfunding Challenge Grants: up to £25,000, to match fund crowdfunding campaigns, open now for applications. This could be to help restore a local church roof for example, and then the organisation gets a £25,000 that is theirs to keep.
The second is Project Development Grants: up to £100,000, for capital project development costs, open now for applications.
Another is Project Viability Grants: up to £15,000, for early viability and feasibility work, open now for applications. And Community Shares Booster Grants can also be applied for.
