Superhero fans will have the chance to meet their heroes at Comic Con this Spring.

The family-friendly event will take place on Saturday 26 April on Green Lane in Wilmslow town centre.

It is free to attend with superhero workshops for all ages and a chance to meet iconic comic book characters.

There will also be tables selling comics, books, graphic novels, and a plethora of toys, games, and merchandise from beloved fantasy franchises like Pokemon, Marvel and many others.

Fans will be able to meet classic superheroes such as Batman, Spiderman and many more.

The free family event is hosted by Wilmslow's Way Better and funded through the Wilmslow Business Improvement District.

Fans of Transformers should look out on Green Lane where Bumblebee and Optimus Prime will make an appearance in both vehicular and robot forms.

The two classic characters will also be doing a series of walkabouts and demonstrations along Green Lane.

The event lasts the whole day and will also feature more surprise vehicles, characters and entertainment.
