The Grove Street bar and eatery is hiring for a new Assistant Manager.

The salary for the full-time role is £23,000.00 to £26,000.00 Per Annum, experience dependent.

Bonuses and benefits are also available, along with an annual share scheme.

The bar honours famed Wilmslow resident Alan Turing, with the Enigma code-breaking machine painted behind the bar, but Unico are looking to crack their code of who their next Assistant Manager will be.

"One shift, you'll be supporting the General Manager; the next, you're stepping up to show everyone how service is done, with high standards and smiling faces," lists the job description.

"You're someone who is always there making sure our Loungers are supported and that service is running smoothly.

"As a friendly face for our team and our customers, you'll anticipate, organise and make good things happen. And good things can happen fast here - if you want to progress, you will."

On shift meals will be provided, and a 50% staff discount can be used by the lucky candidate outside of working hours.

"Unico Lounge is tucked away In the heart of Wilmslow on lovely Grove Street SK9 1DS," added Unico Lounge

"It's quite a puzzle how we can tuck away such gorgeous light and airy space over two floors. On top of that (literally) is our huge hidden roof terrace, perfect in pretty much any weather.

"Our focus has always been on bringing people together, and that's important now more than ever.

"There's never been a more exciting time to join us and make a real difference to our customers and Loungers."

The establishment is open until 9am-11pm daily, and until 12am on Friday and Saturday.

The Unico Longue opened in the second half of 2016, and will celebrate their fifth birthday this year.

It is certain that the Assistant Manager will oversee proceedings for their half-decade anniversary.

The premises is one of a few places in town which also caters for vegan, kids and gluten free diets. They even host a regular knitting club for Wilmslow knitters.
