A new life saving public access defibrillator has been installed at Oakmere Extra Care centre on Spath Lane, Handforth.

Handforth Town Council had recently agreed to purchase and install a new life saving public access defibrillator, which can be used by anyone in the area.

This new defibrillator which has been installed at the Oakmere Extra Care centre has been made possible by Your Housing Group who have allowed Handforth Town Council to install this defibrillator on the exterior of their building.

They have also agreed to having their maintenance team supply power to the unit.

The unit will remain the property of the Town Council and will be serviced as such and as it is public access, anyone in the area who might need the unit in an emergency can use it.
