The Wilmslow Art Trail will take place on Friday 4 October until Sunday 6 October at the United Reformed Church on Chapel Lane in Wilmslow.

The art event runs each year and showcases the very best artists and makers from around the North West.

Wilmslow Art Trail started many years ago and artists could be found in shops and restaurants around the town of Wilmslow. They have been running for many years and their audience and loyal customers have continued to grow.

Each year, the Wilmslow Art committee puts a call out for artists to participate. Many more artists apply to be part of the event than there is space and every year the selection process becomes harder.

The selection process is based on quality of work and also includes a curation element to ensure a vibrant and interesting show for visitors.

The Wilmslow Art Trail takes place at the United Reformed Church in Wilmslow (Wilmslow Nub News).

The committee are passionate about their art and this is evident in the superb quality of work on display.

Around 20 to 30 artists are selected each year to showcase their artwork.

As well as being able to browse through the amazing work on display, you will be able to meet and chat with the artist themselves, find out about their process and the stories behind their work.

Many will also work to commission if you fancy something a little more bespoke.

They became Wilmslow Art 'under one roof' when they relocated to one venue, the beautifully restored Church Rooms at the United Reformed Church and have been there ever since.
