Friday - Wilmslow Fire Station open day - Wilmslow Fire station

Get ready for a fantastic afternoon of fun and festivities at the Wilmslow Fire Station Open Day on Friday 20 December (Wilmslow fire station).

Get ready for a fantastic afternoon of fun and festivities at the Wilmslow Fire Station Open Day on Friday 20 December.

There's something for everyone, so bring the whole family along and you'll also be supporting a wonderful cause, with all proceeds going to The Firefighters Charity.

There will be a range of food stalls, live firefighter demonstrations, Santa's grotto and some amazing prices up for grabs at the raffle.

They will also be hosting a special quiet hour for SEN families, offering a calmer environment to enjoy the event at your own pace.

This event is free to attend and open to everyone.

Saturday - Wilmslow Artisan Market - Alderley Road

The Artisan Market returns this Saturday 21 December (Wilmslow Nub News).

The Artisan Market returns this Saturday 21 December showcasing the very finest artisan market traders in Wilmslow.

It takes places every 3rd Saturday of the month and is one of the highlights of Wilmslow's calendar.

A great selection of food and merchandise will be on display, perfect for the festive period.

Sunday - Alderley Edge Charity Carol Nite - The Drum and Monkey

Now in its 44th year, the ever popular annual Charity Carol Nite will once again be hosted by The Drum & Monkey.

Over the decades this popular event has raised £40,000 for local charities nominated by those present.

Guest are welcome from 7pm for a complimentary glass of mulled wine and mince pies, followed by a 3-course meal and raffle before the Carlton Ensemble's live music commences around 9pm.

Tickets, including a £12 charity donation, costs £33.

If you just fancy singing, that's absolutely fine. Come along around 8.45 pm, deposit £10 or more at the bar.
