Friday - Baby and toddler festive play session with Father Christmas @ Quarry Bank

A special Christmas baby and toddler activity and play session will take place at Quarry Bank, with a special visit from Father Christmas (Wilmslow Nub News).

A special Christmas baby and toddler activity and play session will take place at Quarry Bank, with a special visit from Father Christmas.

This 30-minute session will include an interactive story/song, a keepsake craft for you to take home, and toys for the children to play with.

Father Christmas will make a special visit, giving each child a gift and there will be an opportunity to take a photo with the man himself.

This event is designed for children aged 6 months to 5 years, however older children are welcome.

Tickets will need to be purchased in advance and two adults per family are permitted to attend with the children.

Saturday - Alderley Edge Christmas Lights @ London Road

The Christmas season officially starts in Alderley Edge this weekend (Wilmslow Nub News).

The Christmas season officially starts in Alderley Edge this weekend.

The Christmas lights will be switched on this Saturday 23 November along London Road in Alderley Edge.

There will also be a market along London Road from 4pm to 8pm, featuring food and drink to unique gifts.

Entertainment on the stage will commence at 4pm, with local bands, singers, and school groups offering live musical performances to spread holiday cheer.

Sunday - Wilmslow Festive 10K

The Wilmslow Festive 10K is a traditional festive curtain raiser, helping to kick start the season (Run North West).

The race will start in the town centre of Wilmslow before finishing on Mobberley Road/Sandy Lane.

This race is sold out with 5000 entries and they do not operate a waiting list for this event, nor will there be any entries on the day.
