Wilmslow High School has partially closed to students today (Wednesday 8 January) following an inspection of the site.

The decision has come after the leadership team undertook a full site inspection and discovered black ice covering wide areas of the school site.

All students, except for sixth form students who are sitting mock and external examinations, should stay at home.

Sixth form students are advised to wear footwear they feel most comfortable in and to take care in the icy conditions.

All sixth form students should access the school via the main entrance only. The north gate access into the school off Broadway Meadow Car Park will not be open.
