The pair behind the Great British Pub Crawl came to Wilmslow at the weekend, visiting 12 pubs in total.

The Nottingham based couple, Dale and Holly Harvey, have built their page through an attempt to visit every single pub, bar, micropub, social club and "anywhere else they serve beer across this great country".

Each pub they visit gets its own review, generating important coverage of independent or hidden spots, along with well-known locations.

Starting on 16 March 2022, their social media has seen tremendous growth, with over one million Youtube views and 123,000 followers on their Facebook page.

They started their pub crawl in Wilmslow on Friday 25 April by visiting The Honey Bee, on the outskirts of Wilmslow commenting that they have a decent range of ales on the bar.

Their next stop was at Hickory's Smokehouse which went down as a firm favourite with the couple as far as chain places go, serving up BBQ delights and a decent range of beers.

The couple then made it to the King William which they commented had done a lovely job in decking out with some great wood panelling and quality furnishings.

They went on to say that the pub has a good tap mix.

Just a two minute walk away, the couple found the Irish pub of the town, 'The Mucky Pup'.

They commended the authentic feeling of the inside and the vibe of the place with regular live music.

The newly renovated 'Aura Bar', formerly known at the Grove was commented on as being a swish looking wine and cocktail bar giving off perfect 'date night' vibes.

The Coach and Four, which appeared in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide 2025, received a glowing recommendation with it being described as high quality, furnished to a very good level and with a good mix of keg and cask.
