Were you at Handforth Tesco Extra at 1pm on Thursday? Crash left man with life-altering injuries

Cheshire Police want information from drivers following a crash outside Handforth Tesco Extra, where the victim is lucky to be alive.

Car users who witnessed the collision yesterday at the A34 Handforth are urged to get in touch with the force.

Just after 1pm on Thursday 1 July a report was received of a collision involving a white and blue Suzuki motorbike and a white Ford Transit van on the A34 between the Polar Ford roundabout and the Tesco Handforth Dean roundabout on the northbound carriageway.

The rider of the motorbike, a 47-year-old male, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His condition is described as stable.

Wilmslow Nub News' thoughts are with the man and his family, following the near-deadly crash, and hope for a fill recovery.

Air ambulance amongst other emergency services were at the scene yesterday afternoon.

Enquiries remain ongoing and police are keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision take place and appealing for dashcam footage that could assist with enquiries.
