There are plenty of events on in Wilmslow and Alderley Edge this weekend.

Friday – Halloween Monster Mash @ The Kings Arms

The Kings Arms is holding a Halloween party with live music (Kings Arms).

The Kings Arms on Alderley Road in Wilmslow is hosting a Halloween party with live music and trick and treats.

Costumes are encouraged.

Saturday – Fireworks @ Carnival Fields

The firework display will take place at Carnival Fields in Wilmslow on Saturday 2 November (Wilmslow Nub News).

Wilmslow Roundtable is hosting their annual fireworks display and bonfire night at Carnival Fields in Wilmslow on Saturday 2 November.

Gates open at 4.30pm with the bonfire being lit at 6pm. For children, a Taylor swift themed kids firework display will take place at 6.45pm with the main fireworks display taking place at 7.30pm.

There will be family-friendly entertainment, a gin and beer tent and a variety of food stalls to cater for all tastes.

Money raised will go towards supporting local charities and causes.

Sunday – Fireworks display @ Alderley Edge cricket club

The event will take place at Alderley Edge Cricket Club on Sunday 3 November (Alderley Edge Cricket Club).

Now in its 19th year this popular family-friendly event will take place at Alderley Edge Cricket Club from 4pm to 7.30pm.

There will be a children's funfair with exciting rides and games for the little ones, freshly made pizzas and licensed Bars

Gates Open at 4pm with the fireworks display beginning at approximately 6pm
